Brian Skerry is pictured on the turtle ramp of a fishing vessel. Skerry, a National Geographic photographer, will speak in Tupelo Sunday at this year’s Helen Foster Lecture.
“We do have authors come to the library. This is something different,” Library Director Jeff Tomlinson said.
There is a number of semi-professional shutterbugs and a photography club in Tupelo, Tomlinson said, “I thought Brian Skerry would be a good fit from the standpoint of he’s an explorer and the library is all about providing people the opportunity to explore whatever their interests are.” National Geographic photographer to speak at Helen Foster lecture | News | djournal.com
