Lady Gaga Video Tour Diaries

I was on tour with her for four days during her Fame Tour in Canada. That was a wild ride, lots of stories, some that I can’t share šŸ˜‰

Here’s a parting gift she gave me in Montreal as we were wrapping up the Canadian tour and she was headed to the airport for a Los Angeles show the next day. It was 2:30am and she was cracked out going on almost no sleep for days and days, she even misspelled her name on the autograph, see if you can find it.

Toronto Publicity & press photography for Secret Broadcast

We had a blast running and gunning in downtown Toronto, free flowing to various locations for this photo shoot. We started out the the distillery district and ended up at the Toronto brickworks complex, no permits, no lights no rules.

Single cover photography for Audio Playground

An amazing Dance music group from Toronto named Audio Playgroud. Photographed on the set of Buttonville Airport on the day of the music video shoot for their single.

NOT4SALE- KARDINAL OFFISHALL – Will eat a rappers career for money

That’s Kardi for you! We shot his album cover for Not4Sale in and around my studio in Toronto. This image was shot outside a coffee shop in the middle of a busy intersection in Kensington Market. Seemed the the fun thing to do at the time.

Kardi was recently signed to Kon Live and Interscope records in Los Angeles by hip hop star and rapper Akon. Kardi dropped a crazy number 1 single with Akon named DangerousĀ. I don’t think he will need to eat any rappers career for money now.

Dearly Beloved: Brass Balls Shot

Rob Higgins is the lead vocalist of Toronto’s indie punk rock band Dearly Beloved. They were in the studio during the summer for promotional press and advertisement photos. Rob had a cool belt so we gave it a hero shot close-up in this brass balls shot. I think this could make for a really cool album cover.

Kardinal Offishall | NOT4SALE : THE ALBUM COVER ART & DESIGN

Toronto Music Photographer

Kardinal Offishall’s first album since Akon signed him on to an American label. Good for you Kardi!! Seems like if you’re gonna make it in the big time you will have to do it south of the border with our American friends.
I have been shooting Kardi and the Black Jays for a few years now, and when Kardi’s manager Mayday told me about the upcoming album and the title I was really intrigued. I remembered when I directed Kardi’s video Heads Up from his Fire & Glory album he was wearing a T-shirt with a barcode and it said NOT4SALE.
I spoke with Kardi about my idea to put a barcode where his mouth should be completely eliminating it and i put together a rough composite to show him, he really dug it. So The label Interscope in L.A. gave me a tentative deal to shoot and put something together and if they like it then we got a full cover deal.
I spoke to Kardi again the day before the shoot and we came up with the concept of a soldier holding a grenade in his mouth, which we later had to lose because of legal issues. No ammo in pictures, hmm interesting, weapons are ok though ;0
We shot in Toronto’s Kensington Market and Harlem restaurant and a bunch of other renegade locations, no permits, run and gun. Better to ask forgiveness then ask permission.

Some of the above images were created just for my own amusement and were not included in the album artwork.
Here are some of the images we shot and used in the album art.
